Player Piano'sBerg Piano Services has been installing player systems on pianos since 1991. To date we have installed over 275 systems including PianoDisc, Baldwin Concertmaster and QRS. Along with the player mechanisms, we have installed serveral recording systems, home stereo/playerpiano systems and juke box/player piano systems too. We have also serviced the Yamaha Disklavier. The cost of a modern player system varies quite a bit due to all the accessory items that can be added to the 'play only' system. Record ability, speakers, digital storage choices, drive units, function of foot pedals, sing along tools, computer hookups and more make the price vary quite a lot. The list price for a play only system usually starts at about $5,000.00 dollars and goes up from there depending on what accessories are added. Call us for an up to date quote or if you have any questions about which system and accessories would fit your needs. Player System RepairIf you have a player system on your piano already and it needs repair or you would like to have it serviced just give us a call for an appointment. The service fee to come and look at your player system is $95.00. This includes any software updates and routine maintenance on the mechanism including programming key volume, lubrication and adjusting sustain levers and machinery. If something is wrong or it is not working, we may be able to give you an estimate over the phone or even help you to get it working yourself without a service call or any charges. Sometimes the wrong buttons are pushed by unseen little creatures lurking in the night or other family members, relatives or friends and it's just a matter of resetting things to get it working again.
