Clavichord

The clavicorde or clavichord is another square shaped keyboard instrument invented in 1504 and was very popular from the 16th to the 18th century.

Some more recent artists have recorded with the clavichord including the Beatles, Tori Amos, Oscar Peterson and Keith Jarrett.
